I just want to know how can I use my yahoo messenger while Im login/using my yahoo email(the latest version)?

Once I logged on my yahoo mail, I want to use my messenger at the same time without using the yahoo messenger software, just on the yahoo mail beta itself only.

I just want to know how can I use my yahoo messenger while Im login/using my yahoo email(the latest version)?
you gotta wait, yahoo is randomly activating this option for all beta users. a couple of my accounts have teh IM feature but my main yahoo mail still doesn't.

I can not open my email. It says login error, object expected.?

Hi,

Sorry, just part of the glitch!

A member phoned Yahoo! on 11-28-06 and was told this: "We are still working on the bugs of the Yahoo! Beta Mail. The "Session Expired" issue is what we are working on at present".

Thousands are having many different problems with their mail as there are still glitchs that Yahoo! hasn't gotten fixed yet in their new format.

This applies to almost all areas of mail (including signing in, composing, receiving, sending, attachments, photos etc.), messenger, original and beta mail, and search problems, for the last few weeks.

I found this in What's New In Mail:

We鈥檙e wrapping up a few remaining compatibility issues between Yahoo! Mail Beta and the new Microsoft Internet Explorer 7

I suppose everybody knows, BETA means=TESTING?

So, it seems we have to uninstall these two things or try to work around them until they finish wrapping things up.

This is the # 1 way most are GETTING IN MAIL now that I know of for sure:

To get in most areas of Yahoo!: http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/.

This is feedback I got from a member of whom I helped:

Subject: Re: yahoo problems

Message: Clarification: freecreed.com did NOT help me get back into yahoo.

On the other hand,

http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/ can be used to sign into yahoo, then put yahoo back into the address block and hit go. It will take you back to yahoo and you can open mail normally. Otherwise, you can open mail in wap, but it is blind. I have to go thru wap each time I log on. Yahoo no longer remembers me, either with IE or firefox.

The all-new Yahoo! Mail uses several XML features (they are complicated but trust us,

they help you) in the IE browser and in order to use those, you need to have Active X

enabled.

Rest assured, there is no Active X download or installation of any kind. In order to utilize

these special browser capabilities, please enable Active X with the following steps.

To enable ActiveX for IE 6.x and 7.0 for Windows: you can do the following:

Click on "Tools" menu in the browser.

Select "Internet Options" from the pull-down menu."

Click on the "Security" tab on the top portion.

Click on the "Custom Level" button on the 'Internet' zone option.

You will see a scroll-down menu with radio buttons. Select the 'Enable' radio button for

the following menu choices:

Run ActiveX Controls and Plugins

Script ActiveX Controls Marked Safe for Scripting

Click on the "Ok" button to exit and save.

Click on the "Ok" button again to exit out of Internet Options menu.

Now, exit your browser and restart! ActiveX should now be enabled. You're all set!

--------------------------

You may have scripting disabled in your Internet Explorer.

To enable scripting:

Click the "Tools" menu on your Internet Explorer toolbar and select "Internet Options."

Click the "Security" tab.

Click the Internet (globe) icon and click the "Custom Level" button.

Scroll down to "Scripting."

Enable the following:

Active scripting

Allow paste operations via script

Scripting of Java applets are all enabled

Click the OK button at the bottom of the window.

Give them an email address of yours that DOES work, that way they will have a way of contacting you.

You鈥檒l also need to know the following:

Operating System: (i.e. Windows XP)

Type of Browser: (i.e. Internet Explorer)

Browser Version (i.e. 2000, XP, OS X)

When I鈥檝e had to contact them, they鈥檝e been able to help me!

Best of luck!
