How can I remove the "# unread Email messages" from my login profile for Windows XP?

I use Outlook. Even after I read the messages, it still tells me I have the same amount of unread messages.

How can I remove the "# unread Email messages" from my login profile for Windows XP?
Go to the page in my source and download/install Tweak UI. Run it, then under Logon-%26gt;Unread Mail you can set options relating to that feature.
Reply:- Click Start -%26gt; Run -%26gt; type regedit and enter

- Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Windows CurrentVersion UnreadMail

- Double-click on the dword MessageExpiryDays in the right column and set the value to 0, then click OK. (Note: If MessageExpiryDays not exists, just create one and set the value to 0)

- Close your registry editor.

Your PC now should have the unread email notification turn off.
Reply:Have you tried delete them in the normal way?
