'Standard' and 'Secure' Yahoo Email login modes are intended for what different kind of people?

How does an user logging from home PC is affected? Or is he not?

Plz tell.

'Standard' and 'Secure' Yahoo Email login modes are intended for what different kind of people?
When you login in secure mode, communication with your Yahoo! e-mail account is done via HTTPS instead of via HTTP. This is a secure (encrypted) protocol. What that means is that somebody who intercepts the communication in transit won't be able to read it.

Normally, you don't need this. It is unlikely that anyone would attack you by intercepting the traffic in transit. There are much more practical attacks (like installing a Trojan on your computer) - attacks, against which this mode does not protect.
