I am able to login to my email account in Singapore. But when I try to login to the same email account when I am back in London, it does not allow me to do so, but instead keeps going back to the same login page. Any suggestions would really help!! thanks.

Yahoo much vaunted system is crumbling due to lack of maintenance. Try log into sg.yahoo.com direct and click on email from there. Move over to Google mail. Its free. Independent studies says it beat most email systems.
