I dont think you can. But if you save it as a draft before you go anywhere, you can get back to it. So even if you're time expires, you can login again, go to your draft folder and continue to work on that email. You can get back to the email you were working on, even after your login time expires, if you save the email as a draft first. =)

Log back in with your password. Its a security measure.
