I cannot login to Yahoo beta email?

A month ago or so I was experiencing similar problems. I tried every answer people had posted and nothing worked. I had cleared the cache and history, booted into SafeMode with networking to clear all temp files and still couldn't fix the problem.

Because Yahoo Mail Beta is beta software (almost but not quite ready for prime time) they help very little with it. Beta software is basically in testing mode. I'm sure Yahoo is using Answers to guage how well the software is working. Many people post their issues here so they get a good bug report of the software. But, since it is Beta, they have no solutions. They will simply try to fix these bugs when Beta goes into production for everyone.

With all of that said, last month I finally had a chance to switch back to the original version and all is fine now. You cannot change back to the original w/o accessing beta first. I had to do it late at night when Beta was fully working for me at home to find the link to switch back. The link is there AFTER you successfully login to your Beta account.

There is a site you can access to check your Beta mail if you keep getting Page Not Displayed or a blank screen. It is basically text only, but at least you can check your mail. Here is the link: http://wap.oa.yahoo.com

Oh yes, for all of the people pasting that Yahoo phone number for support, it does cost $29.95 to speak to a live person!

I cannot login to Yahoo beta email?
Thank you very much for the answer. Unfortunately it was not useful to me as I could not logon to yahoo!!

I think that my problems started when I upgraded to Explorer 7.

I managed to get back into yahoo by going directly from E7 rather than through AOL Report Abuse

Reply:I can't get in either. Trying to get on it here at work and don't have the option of downloading it. I've tried dumping my history, cache, cookies...nothing. It will either say I'm logged in and just sit or keep trying to log me in, but won't go to the actual chat. Any other ideas?
Reply:i have same problem..

Reply:Type your ID and password correctly with correct letter case (with no space bar ,commas or period in between those) .Please check it with cool head. You also have to make sure your windwos firewall or your personal anti-virus firewall is not blocking communication from Yahoo! server from your system, lower your browser's 'PRIVACY LEVEL' to 'MEDIUM HIGH' so that it can accept necessary cookies ,you also need to install properly the SNMP protocol and 'messege queing' with 'core functionality',HTTP proxy tools, active triggering (all available in your windows xp installation CD-ROM as 'Windows optional/additional component').If you still face problem then you have to look for whether your account has been 'hacked' or stolen.

if it has been deactivated for 'violation' or "suspended" for 'abuse' by CUSTOMER CARE then you'll have to appeal directly to Yahoo if you believe your account was suspended in error.

The best thing to do is to post in the Wrongful Violations Forum. A member of the team will be able to inform you of the reason your account was deleted and you can ask if you have any hope of re-reinstatement. Make sure to post your old account name (the sign in name). The forum can be found here:

To contest a violation notice that you've received, post your appeal on the Yahoo! Answers Violation Appeals Board. Please post only one message to appeal your deletion or suspension. Include the content that was removed, and why you feel it was a mistake. If you have multiple appeals please include them all in one post.
