How to automate login to websites (email, chat etc.)? ?

I use Windows Vista Business (IE 7) and it used to log me in automatically to all websites which require id and password (after I did this once myself). A small window used to pop up with a question "Do you want IE to automate your logon to this website?" (or smth like that) and pressed 'yes' and that was it, I never had to retype id's or passwords while logging in to mailbox, online chats, databases etc. Now this function is somehow gone and I fail to restore it.

What shall I do?

How to automate login to websites (email, chat etc.)? ?
go to the tools menu [top right of IE] go to "internet options", click the content tab. locate auto complete and click "settings". make sure you select the check box that says "user names and passwords on forms", also check the sub category "prompt me to save passwords" click ok and you should be done

hope i was of some help
Reply:type them in? there is a check box in "internet options" in control panel that will fix this. Just have a bit of a look around.
Reply:I use Firefox and it is really good about automatically signing in. You should use that.
