Can't login to email account, etc.?

I just cleared spyware off my computer with the help of spybot and a few other programs. I don't think my computer has spyware anymore, but even though I can use the internet, I can't login to my gmail account or any other accounts. I tried everything recommended by gmail - delete cookies, allow cookies, reset security to medium, clear cache - but I still can't login. When I try, I get the same message, even though I've already followed the recommendations. Any idea how I can fix this?





I also get a message from my firewall protection service every 15 minutes that says "user (IP address) is trying to access your computer". I think the firewall blocks access, but does anyone else have this problem?

I guess you just unchecked a box in your browser sittings and that box was about to let other websites to create their cookies on your computer. please find it and check that box again in order to allow other websites to create their cookies on your computer.


If not, you are not going to ligin to any website.
Reply:The IP address is usually just programs trying to update to your computer, or other users who share your connection. It's very unlikely that someone is actually trying to hack in to your computer, but possible.





In Internet Explorer go to Tools-%26gt;Internet Options-%26gt;Privacy and set it to medium.





In Firefox go to Tools-%26gt;Options-%26gt;Privacy and chose accept cookies from sites until they expire.

Reply:Using internet explorer, aside from setting it to medium you can also manually enable other cookie settings.


Still under the Privacy tab, click the Advanced button and on the window that appears, put a check on "Override automatic cookie handling". Under First Party and Third Party Cookies, select Accept and then put a check also on "Always allow session cookies. Click OK then Apply and OK. Close and re-launch IE and try to log on to sites again. Bonne chance!
