I think the screen I was presented with before this one already allowed me to change things so that when I email people, they will now see "ValeriaF" rather than my actual Yahoo login address. However, I haven't tested that yet. If my assumption is correct, you don't need to respond to my question, but if it hasn't been done, I'd like to know how to do it. Thanks.
When I send a friend an email, how can I make my email name show as my REAL name and not my login name?
On a mail page top right, click Options, click General Preferences, the 1st item is where you change the name

Reply:Open options on the mail page and enter preferences. Change the from field.
Reply:You have to change your display name in your email settings. In your email, click on options, then general preferences. That will get you to a screen that will allow you to put in any name you want.
