maybe what the troubles is..that you setup your yahoo e-mail with a different password and your messenger with another one. It happen to me one day..i set them both up with a different password..if that not the case then i wish you luck..anything you do with a passward..copy it on note pad which is on your pc and then save it on a floppy dick..this is a saft way..i do it all the time and it is not on your pc so other can hack into it..now with yahoo when you first sign up they ask you for a hidden password that is need as well cause if you don't rember that there is no hope of getting anything back
